Artwork Description

Chosen by Keyton.com.au prominent in the retirement community organisation, to be included in their Resident Calendar 2024. This is my favourite work as a result of my first camping expedition in the deserts of Central Australia after migrating from UK. and depicting the effect it had on my use of colour. It is a result of many years as an artist and latterly a textile artist using wrapped cords and and yarns forming the tree trunk with freeform machining on soluble fabrics for leaves,
painted nets and scrim form the rocks. A great joy to work and a great joy to hang in your room.
Relish not only the work but the number of compliments if brings.
