I first worked the shoe then placed it in a peaceful garden setting deciding it was enticing enough for a bird to make its nest! So I included the bird and nest that add a unique feature in the thread hanging from the beacon the bird and the way some is included in the nest! The background frayed edge canvas is on a floating black background, framed also in black. One of my favourite works!
