As an outdoor enthusiast, my work is driven by the energy of being immersed in the wild. I don't just paint what I see. I translate the my feeling for the elements into abstract forms. From the vastness of a panoramic vista to the intricate, contorted patterns found on a single leaf or stone, I explore the tension between nature's grand scale and its smallest nuances. My process is a dialogue between memory and observation, using sketchbooks and photography as anchors to recreate the sensory experience of the Victorian landscape.

Originally from New Zealand and now calling Melbourne home, I am a visual artist dedicated to capturing the essence of the natural world and spent my art career exploring the textures and stories of the landscape.
My background in design and art history anchors a practice that balances technical skill with a deep connection to the Victorian landscape. Working primarily in oils, I use rich layers of paint to capture the rugged textures of this ancient land. It’s been a joy to see my pieces find homes in private and corporate collections across Australia and internationally, and to share my vision through various exhibitions and award selections along the way.
