As an outdoor enthusiast, I am inspired not just by the visual grandeur of the wild, but by the feeling of immersion within it. My work explores the immense diversity of nature’s forms—distilling the panoramic sweep of the coastline into the intimate, contorted patterns of ancient rock and the delicate textures of a single weathered stone. I am especially inspired by the nuances of colour reflecting the mood of the day. I hope the viewer can experience the same intensity I found in the original moment.
