This painting is in the style of Klimt. Gold and geometric and irregular shapes decorate the garments and tiles throughout the painting. The constant struggle throughout the world for equality and a share of the earths resources has inspired this painting. The pale skinned mother nursing the darker skinned child represent in my mind the imperative for us all to be seen as equals.
