The Rainforests of Queensland and in this cast the Mossman Gorge, are an archeological delight. The majestic ancient boulders form the base of the forests and the rivers and streams. The forest canopy has shed over millions of years and the fossils can be found in layers of the rock. This painting is my abstract view of the forest with the boulders, the building blocks of the Rainforests dominating. The painting has many textures and hints of plant fossils. The boulders, plants and earth are feed by the crystal clear waterways.
