Artwork Description

The rhythmic rise and fall of tides have been likened to the cyclical nature of life itself.
Just as the tides ebb and flow, life's own ups and downs include periods of growth and decline.
This painting highlights the transient nature of existence and the importance of embracing both the highs and the lows.
Painted on a primed 3mm MDF board, item will be boxed and will require framing once received by it's new owner.

Artist Bio

Born in Alice Springs in the 70's
Provided a wonderful childhood full of adventure and outdoor activity's.
A deep appreciation for the beauty of the Red Centre's amazing landscape was fostered in those formative years.
Years spent on BMX's , Motorcycles and spending time with my father who was an avid bushman , who's work took him to many stations around the Northern Territory.
Allowed many happy days spent in the Bush
Creating art was always an important aspect of my life , which was always encouraged by my very understanding mother ( including Murals on Bedroom walls )
Many moons later and still riding Mountain Bikes in those very same hills has solidified my love of the landscape.
I have worked with a diverse range of art mediums over the years . Quality oil paint tends to be the most favoured choice in my art practice in recent years.
I am still fascinated with the landscape around Alice and the amazing colours that are always in flux depending on the season.

Recently moving to South Australia has provided numerous opportunities to capture the amazing local landscapes. I have thrown myself into ocean and hills scene's, and have created many paintings around these themes since arriving.
