This work is a part of a series of abstract paintings which takes a playful approach to colour theory, using unusual colour combinations that can play tricks with the eyes, making colours sometimes appear to vibrate against each other when you stare at them for a while.

In this abstract composition I strived for minimalism, distilled down to a very limited combination of very carefully selected colours which interact together. I am interested in the ambiguous space between abstraction and representation. Some might see landscapes, water reflections or clouds in these compositions. That ambiguity is deliberate.
