Artist Bio
Mark Lombard is a Brisbane based artist, writer and comedian (https://koji.to/Brisburned).
In the pre-Covid era, Mark lived in London and London taught him to live. When he returned to Brisbane, he worked part time as a lawyer and developed his creative interests on the side. Now, Mark Lombard Inc is a successful creative enterprise, making a positive, cultural contribution to the city of the Brisbane.
Mark was born and bread in Brisbane and his intimate knowledge of the city (in particular, its small town mentality) inevitably inspires his creative work. In 2017, Mark created and produced a sketch comedy show called "Brisburned", which has been a hit at the Brisbane Comedy Festival at Brisbane Powerhouse ever since. On paternity leave in 2019, Mark picked up a paint brush and never put it down. Mark loves the creative process and experimenting with new things and his is particularly proud of his artistic works on glass, which boast a unique and interesting depth.
