Born in England, Mansour spent his early years in West Africa before returning to his country of birth. His time at a country boarding school in Suffolk, England proved to be formative and inspired a lifelong interest in landscape. Growing up in Suffolk or "Constable Country" he was immersed in the countryside that inspired many of the greatest English landscapes. These influences can still be seen even in his most abstract of works.
After graduating from R.M.I.T with a Bachelor of Fine Art, majoring in Painting, he explored the world of video and projection and live music performance, he toured and made studio recordings with numerous bands and solo acts, including English Pianist Aqualung, Alt-Country Star Ryan Adams, Krista Polvere and The Level Spirits. Award-winning producer and long-serving member of the Violent Femmes Jeff Hamilton produced his solo efforts.
Mansour returned to his studio practice in 2017 with a number of commissions for private clients, he now works full-time from his studio deep in the Dandenong Ranges on the outskirts of Melbourne, Australia. His paintings form part of private collections across the world, including England, North America, China, Singapore, and Australia.
