This work is part of a series created for a group exhibition entitled Reflections.

I am strongly influenced by the impressionist movement and particularly pieces focused on capturing a moment in time through focusing on the play of light.

In this work I use a combination of impressionist brushstrokes and an expressionist contemporary palette to convey a sense of peace and serenity looking at the ageing grandeur of the old Kanangra Ferry sitting on the Heritage Fleet dry dock at Rozelle Bay
