Mark’s work shifts between expression and atmosphere, capturing both the charm of the everyday and the vibrancy of the natural world.
With a palette that leans confidently into rich colour and bold contrasts, his work celebrates rhythm, repetition, and motion—whether through the flutter of wings, the curve of a fruit, or the geometry of umbrellas against the sand.
Focusing on texture and movement, Mark works primarily in acrylics—using visible brushstrokes, palette knife scrapes, and layered colour—to create everything from vivid still life to dynamic coastal scenes. In much of his work he doesn’t dwell too long on detail, instead embracing instinct and momentum to preserve the energy of the moment.
