Artwork Description

A chorus line of seaside sass, these eight seagulls perch along a salt-worn railing like they’re waiting for their cue. The scene shimmers with beach-day energy. It’s a moment of calm on the coast, where the sky stretches wide and the feathery locals gather for a casual chat above the waves.
Highly textured artwork.
Unframed
Sides painted to match

DETAILS:
*Medium: Acrylic on canvas with layered texture.

*Technique: Layered acrylics with loose, textured brushwork and palette-knife marks; detailed figurative rendering over an abstract, scraped background.

*Style: Modern coastal impressionism with clean, simplified forms.

Artist Bio

I’m a Sunshine Coast artist creating vibrant coastal artwork that explores light, open skies and the quiet rhythm of the sea.

My work is driven by colour, movement and atmosphere, drawing inspiration from the relaxed beauty of Australia’s coastline.

Working primarily in acrylics and soft pastels, I use expressive brushwork and bold colour. Each piece is an interpretation rather than a replication — focused on feeling as much as form.
