Marnie Collie is an emerging artist who grew up in the outer suburbs of Brisbane. Since moving to the Redlands 7 years ago, she has been able to place more emphasis on the growth of her work within her artistic journey.
Marnie is a self-taught artist with a passion for capturing the delicate beauty of nature. Her love of the land is joyfully apparent in her work, often combining bold and bright colours to express the palpable beauty of Australia and all things organic.
Mostly working with acrylics, her use of light and colour is intended to invite the viewer to explore their connection with the natural world, together with creating a sense of joy in the present moment.
