Wings of Peace was inspired by my longing to capture a moment of calm, hope, and quiet freedom. The image of two white doves rising through a blue sky felt like the perfect expression of peace in motion — gentle, graceful, and deeply uplifting. I wanted this painting to feel like a breath of fresh air, a pause from the noise of everyday life, and a reminder that even in uncertain times, there is still beauty, stillness, and light.
My inspiration often comes from nature and from emotions that words cannot fully express. In this piece, I was drawn to the symbolism of the dove — a universal sign of peace, love, and spiritual connection. The textured blue background reflects the vastness of sky and sky-like space, while the white birds bring softness and purity to the composition. Together, they create a feeling of balance, harmony, and quiet strength.
This painting was created as an invitation for the viewer to slow down, breathe, and feel comfort in simplicity. It reflects my desire to share peace through art — not only through colour and form, but through an emotional experience that stays with the viewer.
