A typical Australian outback landscape depicting a winding track between rugged hills. Painted with heavy bodied acrylics but a watered down colour palette to create watercolour patterns and effects. Soft and tranquil scene despite the harsh outback setting.

My paintings try to capture the the vivid colours in beautiful Australian landscapes that I have visited during my travels. My recent work is inspired by aerial photographs of Australian desert landscapes, the Flinders Ranges and the seascapes of the Fleurieu Peninsular. I find painting inredibly meditative, indeed therapeutic. Everyone should try it!
