Artwork Description

Another aerial view of colourful Salt Lakes on Yorke Peninsular. From this aerial perspective the shapes and colours slightly differ from Salt Lakes I, emphasizing the shifting view of the landscape from different angles and positions. Positioned alongside each other, both paintings make a rich and colourful natural work of abstract art. Thank you Michael Waterhouse Photography for use of the photos for artistic purposes.

Artist Bio

My paintings try to capture the the vivid colours in beautiful Australian landscapes that I have visited during my travels. My recent work is inspired by aerial photographs of Australian desert landscapes, the Flinders Ranges and the seascapes of the Fleurieu Peninsular. I find painting inredibly meditative, indeed therapeutic. Everyone should try it!
