Hello, I'm a Queensland local that is inspired by water and nostalgia, both of which feature in many of my works.
I’m particularly influenced by 20th Century art history and its changing role after the invention of the camera. Like the impressionists of the early 20th century, my work hopes to make the viewer feel a time or place. They say every picture tells a story, but in my paintings it is perfectly fine if your story is different to mine. When an image is merged with your own perspectives, it can create unique feelings and thoughts.
