Artwork Description

This piece depicts one of my favourite spots along Anderson Road, Nimbin. It captures a glimpse of golden sunlight piercing through a gap in the trees at dawn. I feel I found the sense of wonder that moment as I connected with the spirits dwelling amongst the ferns.

He was the winner of the Margaret McLaren Encouragement Award for emerging artists at the 2023 Nimbin Art Fair.

Marty looks to depict nature in its purest forms, with little human influence.
