Sunset Tides

Sunset Tides captures the serene meeting of sea and sky, where flowing waves reflect the golden glow of a setting sun. Rich ocean blues blend with luminous warmth, creating a calming sense of movement, light and stillness.

Created using a spatula to guide the flow of colour, this artwork evokes the peaceful beauty of twilight by the water — that quiet moment where the day softens and the horizon seems to glow.

Sunset Tides was recently selected for the Encore Exhibition at Gallery Unbound and was also a finalist in the Whitehorse Art Show 2025. The artwork was additionally featured by the Rotary Box Hill Burwood Whitehorse Art Show’s official Instagram page, reflecting the strong connection and response this piece has inspired.
