I am an artist based in Adelaide, South Australia, working primarily in oils. Drawing and painting have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, they鈥檝e become a way for me to pause, reflect, and notice the quiet beauty in the world around me.
Much of my inspiration comes from time spent in nature: walking, observing, and capturing moments through photos or sketches. My paintings often begin loosely and gradually take shape as I refine them layer by layer.
I鈥檓 especially drawn to the way light moves through the landscape. It shifts colours, deepens shadows, and softens the edges of things. These subtle changes are what I try to hold onto when I paint.
I hope my work offers a quiet moment, a chance to pause, reflect, and perhaps see something familiar a little differently.
