My experiment to revitalise the past keeps moving. With Eleanour, her poise and expression stays cold, and I let the painting, with its many cracks and crevasses, do the heavy lifting. I artificially aged the painting and again, celebrated it by filling the holes with gold dust. The cracks grows over her. The process I use becomes more authentic every-time. Seeing Eleanour on the wall makes you stop and try to figure out if what you are looking at is renaissance being relived.
