My art comes from exploring darkness and taking action to shine a light.
By exploring topics of drug abuse, loneliness, and self-destructive patterns, I'm able to find hope, resilience, and solutions to these problems in order to improve. I share my thoughts with you because the beauty of life's ups and downs need to be embraced and shared, not kept secret.
In my art, you will see the process of loss and discovery as I break down subject matter using storytelling in my strokes, symbology, and form.
You will find figurative styles influenced by Aya Takano, Fred Cress, Nicholas Roerich, and animations. Other elements are brought together by Abstract expressive techniques that are analysed afterward in a similar style to some of the subconscious Surrealists.
Discovering the power of art and creativity after a 6-year climb in Far North Queensland's hospitality industry led to a fall and the opportunity to start and complete a Bachelor's in Creative Industries at James Cook University, Cairns in 2016. That's when I moved to Perth to explore the art industry.
Since 2017 I have managed a youth organization's art gallery, taught art to kids at the Children's School of Contemporary Art, sold private artworks, mentored friends, and engaged in Perth community-strengthening events. As a creative, I have to create so I also make animations, videos, and write when the inspiration calls.
I'm all about endurance and persistence, be a part of my bright future and send me a message.
