Early this year I decided to help me heal from chronic debilitating pain, that I would move to a lovely small place on the beach front where I could forget my pain by soaking up the beauty of the beautiful ocean along with its amazing sunrises and reflections of sunsets. The more a glared from my window out to the ocean the more beauty I would see, more colours, emotion and a sense of losing myself in it's paradigms. This is a painting I have just completed of one of my favourite mornings to wake up to. I can feel my pain soak away as I get lost in a beautiful sunrise ...a gentle reminder that life, no matter what it throws, really is very beautiful when you start to open your eyes.
