"SEA" - Part 1 of the BEACHSCAPE Pastel Series (Sea, Sand, Stone)

This piece is Part 1 of the 3 part Beachscape Series (Sea, Sand & Stone) inspired by the natural elements of my home neighbourhood of Sellicks Beach, South Australia. A beach and seascape theme reflecting on the water elements and in particular bubbles that form in the water, on the sand, and in the stones that adorn the beautiful beach retreat of "Silver Sands"
Using the textural Mi-Teintes TOUCH pastel coloured Paper range from Canson, an indulgence in the elements is achieved allowing the viewer to embrace the moments and be taken to those beachside memories.

I am an Abstract artist focussing on creating pieces in a mix of mediums, paint, texture, charcoal, pencil, ink, who has gained inspiration from a Life Course in the creative space with music, visual arts and creations with nature infused with my personal journey having faced mental health and social issues to evolve to be a passionate advocate for a using "art" as a therapeutic tool to expression of "self"
I am the Founder of "TwoEightStudio" (IG@twoeightstudio) which has been inspired by a personal attachment to the numbers 2 and 8 and my motivation for expression through art through this studio producing original pieces that evoke intrigue and connection.
Through my original art pieces I wish to inspire a spiritual and emotional connection which makes my audience create space to delve visually into my ever evolving expression of self.
