Always was a "Right Brainer"
Began a career in art probably during studies 1996 as I was selling early often off loading a piece to continue my passion.
I dabbled in all mediums & many short course for awhile before getting into Dip of Ceramics where I also explored other workshops in castings / stone carving / wood and photography.
1st Cooroy Butter Factory then needed more stimuli from City so Southbank Brisbane 2nd yrs explored many arts around from Modern to musicals. Immersed myself.
This lead to a Bachelors in Art Lismore 1st yr then off to Canberra School of Art Sculpture and Drawing 2nd yr . Deferred . Traveled Australia a lot bit of Asia then 3rd yr Darwin Uni. Fortunate to have painted along side Warmun Artists. Big influence i would have to say. Deep respect and acknowledgement here indigenous cultures. and traditional owners .
Over years met and worked and studied with many many great successful artists and some not so recognised. " Such is Art "
Yrs following and few shows ended up in Kuranda opened my own Gallery and sold many many works in all mediums shipping and packing overseas . Had productive studio. Awesome learning curve.
As I moved eventually overall 16 places around Australia and 6 States I never stopped absorbing the beauty and diversity of our magnificent country.
Queensland has become my home. When my studio gets bigger I'll creatye in all mediums. For now Painting continues and ceramics .
