LINOCUT PRINT OF CRASHING WAVES

Working with the line, texture, and tone - there’s no better technique than a hand-carved linocut and woodcut, to create limited edition black and white prints.

Printmaking is one of the most methodical ways of working, as it takes many hours to design and then hand carve the block prior to printing. The printing of the lino block is another art in itself, each print is unique and has a certain character.

These are all printed by hand so there are always a few variations with the finished prints.

My main influences include the Australian printmakers: Margret Preston, Barbara Hanrahan, and Jan Senbergs.

Paper: 250 gsm cotton rag paper.

Oils based ink.
