Artwork Description

I use words in my art because I spent my life around words. This Japanese saying is common in that country and I took a different spin on it. I got a set of sayings from my Japanese family when i asked for sayings with six characters. Japanese is far more compact than English because you can fit more information in a smaller space. The saying "rui ha tomo qo yobu" precisely translates as "similar things call their friends" but idiomatically it translates as 'Birds of a feather' clock together.
