Abstract Still Life

My first ever approach at an abstract painting done with oils, I wanted to capture something resembling still life, so I choose something romantic and thought provoking being that of a rose in a vase, bluring the lines beyond that for the mind to wonder as though fixated on the idea of how a rose can bring happiness and joy to loved ones.

I’m a self-taught emerging artist who began painting as a way to navigate and manage my mental health. My goal is to one day share my work publicly, allowing others to see who I am through my art and, hopefully, feel inspired to express themselves too.
