Black Lives Matter

I was inspired by the Black Lives Movement and wanted to create a sense of movement with a minimal colour palette with abstract figurative elements. Its not specifically depicting the movement but I tried to capture the feeling of it, the heavy hearts and social misconduct and the injust that has being endured by people of colour for centuries.

I’m a self-taught emerging artist who began painting as a way to navigate and manage my mental health. My goal is to one day share my work publicly, allowing others to see who I am through my art and, hopefully, feel inspired to express themselves too.
