Sitting Woman

Inspired by various sculptures my mother owned throughout the house growing up. I felt compelled to display the pureness and fragility of the woman's soul displayed like stained glass that is commonly seen within church cathedrals and basilicas, but instead celebrating and admiring a woman, in this case my mother.

I’m a self-taught emerging artist who began painting as a way to navigate and manage my mental health. My goal is to one day share my work publicly, allowing others to see who I am through my art and, hopefully, feel inspired to express themselves too.
