Uvala follows my usual captivation with lines building up form over time. On this occasion the painting suggested an interesting state before the addition of a multitude of lines. The colours of the lines being sympathetic greens, white and earth tones make Uvala suggest a landscape. The title is whimsical, not representational, and is one of a series of recent paintings named after geological features.
