My inspiration comes from the beautiful natural environment of my home in Lake Macquarie NSW.
I grew up in a very artistic home as both my parents were artisans and creators. My father was an inventor and sculptor and an accomplished creator of new ideas. My mother was a successful sculptor, potter and artist. It was in this all encompassing creative environment that I was fortunate enough to be raised.
I have many years experience in limestone sculpture, leatherwork and lead lighting , however in recent years I have become more drawn to fused glass works and have returned to my first love of painting. In addition to acrylic works, I work in mixed media and water colours.
I try and spend as much time in my home studio as possible however my other passion is my beautiful garden and bush sanctuary from where I draw much of my inspiration. My work is built up of many layers of colour, texture and linework to evoke the feeling of my beautiful surrounds.
