Artwork Description

this artwork portrays a tranquil natural scene where a waterway covered with lily pads and blooming white flowers, gently leads the viewer’s eye toward a sunlit pass framed by dense greenery foliage foliage. The interplay of light and shadow creates a sense of depth, drawing the viewer into the calm, immersive atmosphere of the landscape. Layers of green and yellow hues, punctuated by reflections on the water’s surface, evoke the serenity and vitality of untouched nature.

Artist Bio

I'm a Melbourne-based artist working primarily with watercolour, oil, and acrylic. My creative practice is driven by a deep interest in the emotional resonance of colour, texture, and form. I explore themes of memory, nature, and inner landscapes—often blurring the line between abstraction and reality.
Art has always been a way for me to process the world around me. Whether it’s the soft fluidity of watercolour, the bold presence of oil, or the versatility of acrylic, each medium allows me to express something unique and personal. I’m especially inspired by the shifting moods of the natural world and how those moods mirror our internal states.
My work is intuitive and layered, inviting viewers to pause and find their own meaning in each piece. Over the years, I’ve exhibited in group shows around Victoria, and my artworks are now held in private collections across Australia.
Through Bluethumb, I’m excited to share my evolving body of work and connect with people who feel something in the marks, colours, and moments I capture on canvas and paper.
