This art is executed acrylic colours on canvas, using bold colours contrasts and textured brushwork to depict two lemons bathed on natural light. The warm yellow and cool lavender tones emphasize form, shadow, and quiet balance of daily objects. The artwork explores the beauty of simplicity through the painting of two lemons. The artwork captures a quiet stillness that invites viewers to appreciate everyday objects in a new way.

Artist Bio

I'm a Melbourne-based artist working primarily with watercolour, oil, and acrylic. My creative practice is driven by a deep interest in the emotional resonance of colour, texture, and form. I explore themes of memory, nature, and inner landscapes—often blurring the line between abstraction and reality.
Art has always been a way for me to process the world around me. Whether it’s the soft fluidity of watercolour, the bold presence of oil, or the versatility of acrylic, each medium allows me to express something unique and personal. I’m especially inspired by the shifting moods of the natural world and how those moods mirror our internal states.
My work is intuitive and layered, inviting viewers to pause and find their own meaning in each piece. Over the years, I’ve exhibited in group shows around Victoria, and my artworks are now held in private collections across Australia.
Through Bluethumb, I’m excited to share my evolving body of work and connect with people who feel something in the marks, colours, and moments I capture on canvas and paper.
