I had a lovely summer visit to the Tasmanian Botanical Gardens with family. The Zinnias were stunning in their colourful glory. I was happy to snap a photo of this bee labouring away collecting pollen.
I knew I would one day paint him.
The recycled book pages that are collaged around this frame add another dimension of interest as it hangs on your wall.

Capturing the sun peaking over the horizon, the froth from turbulence in the water or the crisp feeling of the winter season is her aim.
