Artwork Description

I vividly remember reading Stephen King's It as a teenager and this is my nod to the classic fiction.
This painting depicts Collins Street Hobart in a rather spooky way with the added creepiness of a red balloon and clown eyes in the grate.
The lights, eyes and street lamps feature a glow in the dark top coat that will glow gently for quite some time after it has been exposed to light.
It appears as a normal streetscape until you look closer and find the balloon and eyes.
