Chaotic and colourful, the two words to best describe my art and myself!
I live in the beautiful suburb of Safety Bay which is about an hour south of Perth. I also work with young children which fits in perfectly with my love of all things bright and colourful! I started painting as a hobby a few years ago and have found it has become an integral part of my life. I am self taught and always learning and experimenting. I use mostly acrylics and love playing with bright colours, my paintings are constantly changing throughout the process, my initial ideas are often very different once I put the brush down for the final time! I often paint birds and ocean creatures, just because I love both of these subjects and am lucky enough to have lots of inspiration around me. I use loads of texture in my works, the urge to run your hands over the end result is always there! My abstract paintings are a reflection of the colours that are constantly exploding in my mind!
