Oh what an infusion. As I became less captivated by a sober mind and rational thought, the true nature of Debussy came alive. There was NO emergence of my pre-mediated reflection of my prior experience on Debussy, it was as if I was just there in the midst of the playing instruments. I could honestly feel the music in all its utter magnificence, I was less restrained to anticipate the coherent reverberations, to feel their charm and ponder upon a trance of spiral and elated imagery of colour.
