Artwork Description

Experience the radiant warmth of "High Noon," a captivating original painting that captures the essence of a sun-drenched summer afternoon. This large-scale piece, measuring 67cm wide by 97cm high, is a vibrant exploration of light and color. The artist masterfully blends acrylic, enamel, and household paints on a sturdy foundation of pressed cardboard and hardboard. This unique mixed media approach creates a rich texture that draws the viewer in.

The inspiration for "High Noon" comes from the intense, hazy glow of mid-summer light as it meets the suburban horizon. The sun's glare reveals a beautiful interplay of warm, earthy tones, reflecting a sense of eternal summer splendor. This abstract expressionist work, with its minimalist leanings, invites contemplation on the fleeting yet powerful moments of natural radiance.

This framed, ready-to-hang artwork is a perfect addition to any modern or contemporary space. Imagine it gracing your living room wall, adding a burst of color and a touch of sophisticated expressionism to your decor. Its substantial size makes a statement, while its abstract nature ensures it complements a variety of interior styles.

Artist Bio

I am an Australian born artist who has been developing a style that is vital to my aim of expressing the Human condition. My art is derived from ‘my story’, I draw my inspiration from real experiences. I believe all artistic vision is inherently from a source that can only be considered as divine. I draw from my own personal experiences, all that I witness within the boundaries of my life, from all that I have felt internally.

“I understood more, when I felt more”

I approach my work with a conceived idea or an elusive image. At first a set style or attitude is taken on as an expressive outlet, and then eventually I become stimulated before the work takes a life of its own through an emotional outlet during the creation of the work. I become captivated by the works progressive development, encouraging what works to hold or to expose a subconscious truth and beauty, creating a life of its own.

"There is no single truth in Art, everyone holds their own truth which they have reaped through the life they have endured".
