Artwork Description

Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of "Lily Pond," a captivating mixed media original artwork. This piece masterfully blends acrylic and pastel on fine art paper, creating a textured and vibrant surface. The artist skillfully captures the tranquil essence of a water lily pond, reflecting its calming presence and the gentle embrace of nature. Think of Monet's water lilies or Van Gogh's expressive brushstrokes; this painting offers a similar emotional resonance through its painterly abstraction and impressionistic style. The use of blues and greens evokes the cool depths of the water and the lush surrounding foliage.

This medium-sized artwork, measuring 51cm wide by 61cm high, is framed and ready to hang, making it an effortless addition to your home. Its dimensions are perfect for bringing a touch of natural serenity to a living room, bedroom, or even a quiet office space. Imagine this piece gracing your wall, offering a daily escape into a peaceful, natural world. The expressive style invites contemplation and adds a sophisticated, artistic touch.

Let the calming spirit of this lily pond bring a sense of peace and natural beauty into your everyday life. This original piece is more than just art; it's an invitation to pause and appreciate the quiet wonders of the natural world. Bring this stunning landscape into your home and let its tranquil energy transform your space.

Artist Bio

I am an Australian born artist who has been developing a style that is vital to my aim of expressing the Human condition. My art is derived from ‘my story’, I draw my inspiration from real experiences. I believe all artistic vision is inherently from a source that can only be considered as divine. I draw from my own personal experiences, all that I witness within the boundaries of my life, from all that I have felt internally.

“I understood more, when I felt more”

I approach my work with a conceived idea or an elusive image. At first a set style or attitude is taken on as an expressive outlet, and then eventually I become stimulated before the work takes a life of its own through an emotional outlet during the creation of the work. I become captivated by the works progressive development, encouraging what works to hold or to expose a subconscious truth and beauty, creating a life of its own.

"There is no single truth in Art, everyone holds their own truth which they have reaped through the life they have endured".
