Artwork Description

SILENT STEPS UPON AN OLD ROAD

“I am awoken to be found upon an unforeseen road, leading towards an empty trail to the old self of yesterday. I am Lost, An ever present foe, a lifeless toll.

I have been dealt a fatal blow. My heart has been poisoned by empty promises, I have forgotten the road which lead me to my vowed bliss, as I was afraid to venture any deeper into the unknowing. I am broken, as I stare into the eyes of the self, I am swept into the grievances of falling still beside a familiar road, beset by old memories of the past.

I shall not fall short of my sworn quest for beauty and truth which is mine upon the internal highland of blossoming meadows filled with fluttering daises by the gentle wind in the crimson light, as It swipes the brow of my inner lost child".

Artist Bio

I am an Australian born artist who has been developing a style that is vital to my aim of expressing the Human condition. My art is derived from ‘my story’, I draw my inspiration from real experiences. I believe all artistic vision is inherently from a source that can only be considered as divine. I draw from my own personal experiences, all that I witness within the boundaries of my life, from all that I have felt internally.

“I understood more, when I felt more”

I approach my work with a conceived idea or an elusive image. At first a set style or attitude is taken on as an expressive outlet, and then eventually I become stimulated before the work takes a life of its own through an emotional outlet during the creation of the work. I become captivated by the works progressive development, encouraging what works to hold or to expose a subconscious truth and beauty, creating a life of its own.

"There is no single truth in Art, everyone holds their own truth which they have reaped through the life they have endured".
