Weightless
Weightless explores the quiet space between surrender and freedom. Three figures- a white tiger and two human forms- drift effortlessly through an expansive sky, suspended in a dreamlike world where gravity seems to have disappeared. Rather than depicting a fall, the painting captures a moment of complete release, inviting the viewer to consider what it means to let go.
Layers of luminous turquoise, soft pinks, whites and deep blues create an ethereal atmosphere that shifts between sky, water and memory. The expressive brushwork and subtle textures encourage the eye to wander, revealing new forms and movement with every viewing. Against this abstract backdrop, the monochrome figures appear calm and untroubled, existing in a place beyond fear or urgency.
The white tiger symbolises instinct, resilience and quiet strength, reminding us that even in moments of uncertainty we carry an inner confidence that guides us forward. Together, the three figures become a metaphor for trust- trusting the journey, ourselves, and the unknown.
