This is an artist's interpretation of a bird's eye view of the Darling River in Western NSW Australia depicting the grey loam and red sandy soils of the region and the characteristic coffee coloured water. The gum trees are always taller and greener closer to the bank. The river is the lifeblood of communities all along its course.
