AWARD WINNING PIECE - Pond Reflections - Framed textured art

This piece won equal 1sr place in the Emerging artist category at the 37th Yea Art Show in January 2023.
“Pond Reflections”, part of my Reflections Series, took me on a beautiful journey during the creative process. I found myself taken to a tranquil pond setting with the sounds of nature filling my ears. Beautifully deep blues and natural greens flow across the lower section of canvas as if gliding on a pond, while a bouquet of floral colouring flow skyward creating an umbrella of pastel toward the top of the piece.
Pond Reflections is a real stand out piece for me within this series, it’s just beautiful. Pond Reflections comes famed in a stained and varnished floating wood frame so all you have to do is hang it in the perfect spot.

A bit about me; I’m an artist/painter and mother residing in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney. I’ve been painting professionally since 2019 but have always been artistic and loved creating things with my hands.

I was honoured to be awarded the winner of the Emerging Artists Award for my work at the 37th Yea Art Show, as judged by renowned artist and art teacher, Ron Muller.

I like to work with acrylic paint and texture mediums on canvas to create work that induces a calming, serene and uplifting feeling. My vision has always been "to paint what brings me joy in the hopes that joy will spread".
