A light hearted aerial view of a day at the beach. Textured waves with frothy white caps, real sand along the shoreline and dotted with colourful parasols and beach marquees. This piece draws the viewer in close as they explore all the beachgoers on the sand and in the water. Being a mixed media piece with textured waves and gritty sand, you’ll want to experience the feeling of the beach not only with your eyes but with your fingertips too.

Note: the sand is mixed with an artist quality medium which sets like rock. It will not shed all over your floors.

A bit about me; I’m an artist/painter and mother residing in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney. I’ve been painting professionally since 2019 but have always been artistic and loved creating things with my hands.

I was honoured to be awarded the winner of the Emerging Artists Award for my work at the 37th Yea Art Show, as judged by renowned artist and art teacher, Ron Muller.

I like to work with acrylic paint and texture mediums on canvas to create work that induces a calming, serene and uplifting feeling. My vision has always been "to paint what brings me joy in the hopes that joy will spread".

I hope you enjoy my work and that perhaps viewing it brings you some joy too.
