Lion - Courage

Using my signature simple yet kwirky style, this lion shows strength, power and curiosity through its lines, shapes and colourful dots.
He belongs in my kwirky animal series and was created with acrylic on canvas.
For this piece I wanted to challenged myself to show such a powerful subject in such a subtle way and I think he would look stunning in any space.

Melissa Mamukic is a Canberra-based, self-taught artist whose practice explores the playful interaction of shape, colour, and composition.
