Artwork Description

Oil on canvas, stretched and ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

One of the definitions of a core in the Oxford dictionary is “the part of something that is central to the existence or character.” So, after eating a crisp Granny Smith apple you reach the core, the centre to its existence. The bit we discard and think nothing of. This has made me reflect on our own core, our centre and reason to be, and how important it is to stop and take note of our actions and see beyond our first impressions of others, because “At the Core” we find our real character.
This is a large piece. It would sit well on a feature wall.
