Oil on wood, ready to hang.
Signed on the front.
I’m loving painting on birch wood panel at the moment, not too large. It calls for a minimalist composition using a gentle colour palette. This is an old pharmacy bottle I picked up at a market- Krusts Prize Medal Magnesia- holding seed pods fallen from a gum tree. I’ve left the edges unpainted to enhance the simplicity of the work but it would also suit a natural box frame. Would look great hanging in a kitchen, hallway, in a corner of the room or anywhere really.
