Artwork Description

Acrylic paint on canvas
40cm x 51cm

Doesn’t it just lick your heart? The passionate flow of colours intertwine and reach out to make you feel it too. This piece features deep purples balanced with soft pastel green and peach. A smaller piece, but mighty bold!

Acrylic paint on stretched canvas, ready to hang. This original painting was hand crafted in 2022 and has been lightly varnished to seal and protect the artwork. It’s signed on the front, bottom left hand side.

Artist Bio

I’ve always enjoyed art, from learning new mediums and styles in school to going on to study and work as a graphic designer. It wasn’t long until I ventured further into the creative world with photography, then multimedia design, animation and video; always searching for a new challenge. When I picked up a paintbrush again during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020 all the skills and joy of painting came back to me.

I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to develop my creative side and form a successful career from it, but I’m even more glad that I’ve returned to my roots of acrylic painting. Painting landscapes is what fills my heart, though I also like to explore new styles and challenge myself with abstract art, still life, florals and portraits. I want to reach out of my comfort zone, let go of control and see what flows from my heart onto the canvas. I want to build a foundation of learning from exploration and I remind myself that I’m not in a rush, this journey is my life.
